My Girl
There are two women in my life that I can say I truly love. I haven’t come here today to talk to you all about the woman that brought me into this world, but rather, the one whom I feel like I mean the world to.
I cannot lie to you all and say that this girl doesn’t push my buttons and test my restraint from time to time. But even when I’m less than cordial to her, she is quick to forgive and quick to love. Although she cannot conceive the complexities I face, she comforts my concerns by offering a shoulder when I need one.
She requires little maintenance: a place to sleep, something in her belly, and the occational late night stroll. However, having so few needs and wants doesn’t mean she has a boring existence. She has done battle with giants and reached the brink of defeat many times, but you’d never know it to look at her. That being said, looks can be deceiving and you’ll soon discover the viciousness and ferocity that she is capable of if you ever decide to step into the ring with her.
My girls struts around with an aloofness that makes it apparent that she considers herself nothing short of divinity. But, do not hold this against her, because, honestly, how many of you can say that you don’t hold yourself in some kind of special light?
I implore you all to adapt her altruistic attitude. Forgive those that may have wronged you, stand up to giants that feel like their might equals right, and try to enjoy the truly simple things in life. Because there are many things that one could learn from aruably the most beautiful bearded woman in the world. This particular Gem of Stuttgart isn’t known to many of you and hasn’t afforded you the oppertunity to make her acquaintance, although Shawn had a brief encounter, she has made a tremendous impact on my life. This girl is none other than the pretty puppy that I call Purdy Penny.
